Defense attorneys have said the sex allegations are false and that accusers extorted money and drugs from the doctor.The Butler County jury deliberated for about 13 hours over two days before convicting Blankenburg of gross sexual imposition, corruption of a minor, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, compelling prostitution and complicity to compelling prostitution.The position will begin in the 2018-19 academic year.The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses across the public administration core curriculum for the undergraduate major in Public Administration and courses for the MA program and have substantive expertise in an area of public policy and policy analysis; develop a record of excellence in undergraduate and master's level graduate teaching, including the introduction to Public Administration and other advanced courses that contribute to the public administration major; conduct relevant research leading to a record of published scholarship; provide institutional and professional service; take part in the undergraduate major in public administration, teach related courses for the MA program, contribute to all aspects of the departmental mission; and participate in applied research projects through the Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs. Screening of applications will begin September 1, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled.The office of ethics and student conflict resolution manages the judicial process for Miami University.The staff works within tight timelines and manages a large caseload throughout the year.This position will perform the following (not an exhaustive list): Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 2 years of university work experience in Student Life or a Student Affairs department or in investigating sexual harassment (including sexual assault, sexual exploitation and indecent exposure).
